La mitochondrie dans tous ses états… Qu’est-ce qui se passe quand elle ne marche pas, quand elle ne fournit pas l’énergie indispensable à nos cellules ?
Cette Winter School a permis aux étudiants d'acquérir les compétences suivantes :
C’est pour répondre à ces questions que des experts internationaux se sont réunis à Nice du 13 au 17 décembre 2021 pour une Winter School intitulée : Mitochondria in health, disease and aging organisée par l’Ecole Universitaire de Recherche Life and Health Sciences d’Université Côte d’Azur dans le cadre du programme IDEX.
Les conférences ont eu lieu dans l’amphithéâtre « Le Galet », à l’hôpital Pasteur, le matin. Cette Winter School alliait recherche et formation avec l'intervention d'experts dans le domaine. Son objectif : susciter des réflexions et des échanges avec des chercheurs nationaux et internationaux qui ont présenté leurs travaux centrés autour des fonctions et dysfonctions mitochondriales.- Diagnostiquer et prendre en charge un patient (enfant ou adulte) atteint de maladie mitochondriale
- Appréhender l’intérêt des nouvelles approches (séquençage haut débit, études fonctionnelles...) pour optimiser le diagnostic de ces pathologies
- Aborder les problématiques du conseil génétique et des méthodes de diagnostic anté-natal de ces maladies
- Comprendre les nouveaux mécanismes décrits récemment comme étant à l’origine de ces pathologies
