LIFE - Sciences du vivant et de la Santé
L'Ecole Universitaire de Recherche "Sciences du vivant et de la Santé" regroupe 9 instituts et centres d'innovation et de partenariat reconnus au niveau international, répartis sur 3 campus, et environ 1 000 chercheurs. Ces laboratoires sont sous la tutelle de l'UCA, du CNRS, de l'INSERM, de l'INRAE, du CEA, de l'INRIA. LIFE est affiliée à 2 laboratoires d'excellence en recherche : SIGNALIFE & ICST. L'accent de LIFE est mis sur les masters et doctorats avec un lien fort entre éducation et recherche, formation en laboratoire ou en entreprise.

An article published in NAR in July 2023 reports the discovery of N-terminal alanine-rich sequences, which we term NTARs, that act in concert with their native 5′-untranslated regions to promote selection of the proper start codon.This work was led by Roser Busca, Cercina Onesto and Philippe Lenormand, all three researchers from the Institute for Research on Cancer and Aging, Nice (IRCAN) and Université Côte d'Azur. - Applications open for the International Preparatory ClassApplications for the International Preparatory Class (specialty Life Sciences) are open for all international students with a high school diploma!
